The Tuomainen farm is a Kvenish town farm from the middle of the 19th century. It has a dwelling house, cow-house/stable, barn, sauna, bakery, shop and forge. The different units are adjoined alongside the property's outer boundary. These structures, along with a high planked fence, provide an enclosed and protected yard. Eventually the buildings were altered as demands changed during the period 1920-1960, however since this time, the interior and exterior have remained preserved.
