Description
This is a view of the Ørnes Trading Settlement when seen from the seaside. In the foreground of the photo is the office, in the middle the main building, while one can vaguely see the hotel in the background. In the 19th century and far into the 20th century, Ørnes was an active farm and trading settlement. Around 1900 the trading settlement was comprised of:
Large dwelling house, - burned down in 1942.
Main building
Office/bakery, -became a listed building in 1942, and is currently still standing today.
