Description

The raw goods warehouse is located at upper part of the terrain, in the west. It is a rectangular building where the roof follows the natural fall of the terrain towards the sea. The slightly undulating roof, which is comprised of juxtaposed cylindrical shells, provides the building with its characteristic form. The factory building, which is located near the edge of the sea in front of the raw goods warehouse, is divided into a wet and a dry section. There are two juxtaposed, roughly cubic building shells. One is slightly shorter than the other and they have flat roofs. The façade is articulated and divided into stories with the help of alternating window bands and square-shaped "windows" that are installed in the concrete wall. The vertical rounded "prilled granule tower" stands in contrast to the rest of the building.
