Much thought and reflection went into design of the entrance to the upper factory premises. Here the recreation room and the office building were situated on each side of the main gate - which is the gate for the entire complex. All of the traffic entering the complex passed through this gate, which was controlled by the guard in the vestibule. This was also the post where the stamping of working hours occurred, and payments were given out.
