Description
A saw station is a scaffolding construction consisting of two large tree-trunks
the term for it at Bardu is “sagbrygge” (saw wharf, or platform). A log is laid on the saw station and is then sawn longways with the saw, using manual power. A large two-man saw is used – with one man up on the scaffolding and the other on the ground below.
