Description

The farmhouse was built in four stages
the oldest sections were completed before 1886. As the house stands today, it is a house with a centrally located corridor, entrance and kitchen. It is a two-storied structure that stands on a dry walled stone work. It was made with cogging joints and is not panelled. The house has a purlin roof that is covered with soil and sod. Each window is two-paned and has three or four panes of glass in each frame. The double door entrance has an overhead window, which has glazing bars that are arranged in a zigzag pattern. This window, along with the gable board that has a saw tooth pattern in the lower corner, is the only adornment on the exterior.
