Description
As far back as in 1948 there were plans for a new hospital at Kaarbøjordet, but it would take nearly 30 years to be realized. The existing hospital suffered from acute lack of space and new extensions kept being built. When finally completed the new hospital could offer 220 beds and a hospital hotel of 24 beds.
