Description
In the area around Strandgata 19 there are several well-preserved Swiss-style houses. One characteristic feature of this style is the decoration of the gables, often termed the "carpenter's delight"
in the case of the old apothecary this is apparent in the latticework. Another characteristic feature of the Swiss-style buildings is their prominent gable section that forms part of the composition of the main façade.
