There is a free-standing concrete pillar on the street corner, a typical feature of buildings with functionalist characteristics. Behind the pillar the wall is aligned diagonally, creating a defined distinction between the ground floor and first floor. Up on the first floor there is a large expanse of window divided by tall vertical wooden glazing bars. To the south-west the entrance area is drawn into the wall.
