Description

These three old residences are located on the fringe of a landscape terrace with a lovely east facing view of the sea. The street Hålogalandsgate is one of the closest residential streets to the Harstad town centre, and is architecturally characterised by villas. Located directly adjacent to the street, the houses provide the street with an air of intimacy. Each house has spacious gardens on a sloping terrain on the east- and south-side of the house. The three villas range from one- to two-storied with a pedestal, along with a large loft and a half-hipped roof. With their adornments and bay windows, these three houses are lovely examples of the Jugendstil in wood.
