Description

The cinema was completed in 1972 and is situated between the two office blocks, withdrawn from the street Kongens gate. The cinema was given the name Ankeret. At the time it was built, the cinema hall had a seating capacity of 401 and the screen was one of the largest in Northern Norway. In 1979 a new cinema hall was opened, called Mea, and seated 90 people. The roof of the cinema arches slightly upwards and directs one's glance beyond to the E-verks blocks.
