Description
On the interior, it is a long church with three naves, where the side naves provide lateral passageway to the pews. The sanctuary room has an arched ceiling, and the robust arch also marks the transition to the choir. The room is adorned with simple borders on the arches, in the transition to the side naves and at the tops of the columns. A large painting, carried out by Axel Revold (1887-1962) covers the entire choir wall in the east. It depicts the Pentecost - with God's hand above, subsequently a crucifix with a dove / the Holy Spirit below. Together these entities comprise the Holy Trinity.
