Description

The rounded arch portal is modelled on the Romanesque style period from the Middle Ages. The double door has a lunette window above. The mouldings on the door leaves were also designed by Professor Nordhagen, and are constructed of wrought iron. The tall and rounded flight of steps, along with the entrance portal that is formed like a graduation of the brick wall, provides the entrance with a strong perspective effect - drawing visitors in towards the entrance.
