The house at number 1A Nordre Tollbodgate was moved here in 1991 from Prestenggata where it was built in 1896. Its main entrance is from the courtyard, which opens towards Skansevollen. The house has two storeys and an attic and on the street side the pitched pantiled roof has a gabled dormer. At the back there is a three storey extension with a shed roof. The windows have two casements each with two window panes of which the upper one is smaller. The window heads are supported by consoles.
