"Universitetssykehuset Nord-Norge Åsgård" (3 of 5)
Description
Most of the buildings have two or three stories with rendered brick walls and pitched roofs. The elevations are simple but with some variations. One of these is limited areas with grids in a lighter color than the rest of the wall. The grid may indicate the position of floors and internal walls and within it there are windows, doors or walls with render or cladding made of wood or other materials. This was a much-used feature in 1950s Norwegian architecture. The long connecting corridors have large glazed areas.
