"Fogd Dreyers gate 16" (2 of 3)
Description
A stair extension with the same ridge height as the house itself is positioned symmetrically at the rear of the house, allowing access to all floors. In order to be able to afford the economic commitment of building a house, the owners in this area of town often took possession of the top floor and rented out the rest. Throughout this house’s existence, there have always been separate apartments on the ground and first floors and, at any rate for a while, in the loft. The balcony up on the first floor is a new addition that was installed during the renovation of the house in the 1990s.
