"Bankgata 7-13" (2 of 3)
Description
The bank building is a three-storied concrete constructed structure - painted a light grey colour. An annexed structure is located on the flat roof. This rectangular building is characterised by a row of robust columns that extend from the ground up to the cornice at the top storey. The façade is horizontally divided between the second- and third storey, while the first- and second storey appear without a horisontal division. The composition of the façade is like a subtle abstraction above a motif from the Middle Ages - similar to the elevation within a church from the Middle Ages. The entrance is recessed and located on the building's western corner. Together with the windows, which also recede from the wall, the bank appears to be a solid and tightly closed box. Parking spaces for staff members are located on the lower ground floor, with an entrance from the side street.
