Description
In contrast to the rest of the building, the town council room is decorated with local species of wood - created and designed by the artist Erland Leirdahl. The floor is made of birch wood from Målselv. The outer walls are made of pinewood, while the inner walls are clad with alder. Alder was earlier used by the Coastal Sámi as a building material.
