The three-storied solarium forms an asymmetric hall/passageway with stairs, ramps, galleries and footbridges. Towards the south (side facing the town centre), the interior is decorated with a dense oasis of terraces and green plants. This forms a background for the fountain, where water trickles down the wall into a pool at the foot of the stairway. The fountain was created by Zdenka Rusova. The glass "hallway" opens onto the northern side of the building and the rest of the university campus.
