"Universitetet i Tromsø, Realfagsparsellen" (3 of 7)
Description
In wanting a broad selection of research at Breivika, a large area was dedicated to outside companies with close accessibility to the university and the University Hospital - such as the Norwegian Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture. The original building that housed the Norwegian Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture was designed by Harry Gangvik, and was opened in 1984. Since this time, the building's original exterior has undergone significant changes. In 1993 it was annexed. This addition was designed by Arkitektplan (Eigill Hallset and Kolbrún Ragnarsdottir).
