The cottage's total area is approximately 40 square metres - roughly half of this amount comprises the living room and kitchen. In spite of its small size, the cottage is very functional. For example, the sauna also functions as a windbreak. The cottage can be divided into two sections. The living room has large planes of glass and a ceiling height of 2.6 metres. This stands in contrast to the rest of the cottage which has a more closed quality and a ceiling height of 2.2 metres.
