The Aagaard Warehouse (now often referred to as the Kjær Warehouse) housed some of the Tromsø's leading factories - Albatross, which was a cannery from 1928 until 1960. This photograph was taken the same year the cannery was shut down - 1960, by the photographer Hans A. Brandt. He carried out a large photography project that documented Tromsø. His photographs are kept at the Tromsø Museum, the University's Museum.
