Description
Today the Bangsund Warehouse is a student recreational building. One can visit the building and still observe the original wooden construction. In 1998, a kitchen was annexed to the warehouse. This kitchen is modern in form and in use of materials
its size is proportional to the old building. It was designed by the architects Lasse Krane and Petter Bakke, both representatives from the firm Borealis Arkitekter AS. In 2000, they were awarded the Northern Norwegian Architecture Association's prize for their efforts with the Bangsund Warehouse.
