"Langenes kirke" (2 of 7)
Description
The age of the oldest parts of the church is not known. However, there were both a busy fishing village and a church here during the Middle Ages. During the 18th century the church was extended and become a cruciform church. The sacristy and the tower was added during the second half of the 19th century and the first part of the 20th century. The unusually cut roof slates might have been added towards the end of the 19th century.
