Description
Here is a view of the residences at Nyksund, when seen from the south. Only a few of the houses have room for a small garden, amidst the rocky landscape. Behind the residences, one can catch a glimpse of the ridge turret crowning the religious meeting house chapel, a small white building built by the "Vesterålen Fishermens' Fellowship" at some point during the 1880s.
