The roadside station is located at the intersection of the Lofoten Mainland Connection (E10) and the road to Vesterålen (Rv85), in a magnificent fjord and mountain landscape. The area borders Møysalen National Park and is sensitive to large-scale technical interventions in nature. This proximity made it desirable to construct a building that would respect the landscape as much as possible. To minimize the impression of its size, the facility was built into the ground on the northern side, while the southern side is visually open toward the road and parking lot.
