"Bukkekjerka rasteplass" (5 of 8)
Description
From the rest area, a path leads out to the islet with two unattended lighthouses and a barbecue area in pebble stone. A simple concrete footbridge in one straight piece leads over the marshy terrain.
Børvågen was during the "Great Herring Era" a lively fishing village, but a storm in 1879 laid everything to waste. Still, there are traces in the landscape of houses, burial mounds, and old boat supports.
