Description
The open air museum in Folkeparken is the oldest such collection in the county of Troms and consists 13 buildings from Tromsø and the surrounding districts. Established in 1952 it took Troms Folkemuseum, with good support from around the county, 30 years to build up the collection. Troms Folkemuseum’s collections were incorporated into the new museum Perspektivet in 1996.
