Description
The cuts and fills are adapted to gently meet the original terrain and the route is carefully adjusted to avoid damage to Sámi heritage sites along the road.
Work first started during the 1920s and was completed in 1937. Improvements of its weakest points were done in 2008 and 2009, and then the final alterations were made during 2010-2015.
