Description
Bremstein Light Station was established in 1925 and electrification took place in 1961. In 1980 it was automated and the lighthouse keepers moved in 1982. The Norwegian Coastal Administration on behalf of the Norwegian government manages the light station whilst the land is in private ownership. Vega District Council has given the area a protective designation.
