Description
Before the work started the area was surveyed thoroughly to gather data on build up of snow and wind conditions. Modern plant machinery was used and materials from the surrounding landscape were scraped and pushed in from the sides to create the fill construction. In a fragile terrain like this the scars are still visible.
In 2009 Børselvfjellet Road Heritage Site was given protected status in accordance with the Norwegian Cultural Heritage Act.
