Seen from afar Selvika Rest Area is a beautiful sculpture with light and shade playing on the curvaceous winding walls. The pale grey concrete has beautifully made formwork with vertical wood grain.

The twisting and turning concrete ramp leading from the road to the beach, entice the visitors to slow down and experience the landscape from different angles. The walk ends at the picnic area with facilities for social gatherings. The layout of the site allows access for all levels of mobility.
