Description

The main building is spread over one and a half storeys, plus a cellar, and stands upon a ground wall of natural stone. The façade is rendered symmetrical by a mid-positioned dormer window and the house has a gentle gable roof. The roof projects from the wall and is supported by finely-wrought tie-beams. The walls are clad with white-painted horizontal panels and the windows have finely-detailed frames in a darker colour. The windows are mainly cross-post, but there are also small, rectangular horizontal windows up on the first floor. Both the gables and the mid-dormer window are decorated with carved woodwork with a lily motif. Many of these details are in the Swiss style.
