Description
The basic idea in the landscape architect’s creation of the stopping-place was to make a podium in the landscape that complements the surface of the sea, the horizon and the mountains behind. It has been given a simple geometric language form that is dominated by horizontal surfaces and lines. There is a sharp distinction between the stopping-place and the landscape.
