Many of the residences in Tranøy have elements from the late Swiss style, such as: steep pitched roofs with large eaves, dormers and cross post windows with brackets supporting a weatherboard. This residence has simple cross members at the peaks of the gables, on the short sides of the building. In addition, decorative fillings (in the areas between the cross members) adorn the dormer gables.
