Description
The road through the Junkerdalsura nature reserve leading to the mountain lodge Graddis Fjellstue was constructed during the 1880s. It is part of the road connection between the Norwegian fjord Saltenfjorden and the Swedish town Piteå by the Bay of Bothnia (Bottniska Viken). The original plans for this road were made back in 1867 but the connection was not completed until 1975.
