Description

The sauna was the first building made of timber that was erected on the farm, possibly as early as the 18th century. It is built of cogging jointed pinewood logs in robust dimensions. In 1984, it was restored by the Northern-Troms Museum. It is a wood-fired sauna without a chimney, where the heater appears like a pile of stones in the corner. Due to risk of fire, it is situated at a good distance from the other buildings on the farm.
