On the church's interior, one finds a tall and airy nave with a saddle roof ceiling. The sanctuary room was clad with panelling in 1967, and was never painted. However, the remaining details are painted in light colours. The altar piece is surrounded by a framework designed in the Late Gothic style. It was painted by Christian Brun, and depicts the Resurrection as a motif. This painting is a replica of Tidemand's altarpiece, which is located in the Bragenes Church in Drammen. There is a similar replica in the Tromsø Cathedral.
