"Slettnes" (3 of 5)
Description
The sketches of the farmhouse suggest that it was originally designed as a cogging jointed "bårstue" (secondary residence). In other words it was planned as a "makeshift" reconstructed house. It was adjusted to accommodate the family's needs, and was later expanded to function as a permanent residence. The illustrations that show the changes in the plan, form and the façade that faces the sea were created by Solvår Wågø for Fotefar mot nord.
