Description
The hexagonal pulpit has four panels depicting the evangelists Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. It was donated by the vicar and titular bishop of Bodø N.J. Friis. The paintings of the evangelists are thought to have been made by Ole Kolset who was a pupil of the better-known painter Gottfried Ezekiel. Ole Kolset was from Nordmøre and both men worked for titular bishop Friis.
