Description

The lovely Neo-Gothic interior is from the end of the 19th century. On the interior of the church, the claddings are painted white and the construction elements have a reddish-brown colour. The pews are dark blue and the ceiling is painted a lighter blue colour. During the first half of the 20th century, a depiction of a starry sky was painted on the ceiling above the choir, after a suggestion made by the architect Harald Sund. The columns which divide the central nave, and the two side naves, also support the longitudinal galleries. A large arched opening is situated between the nave and the choir.
