Description
The ground-plan of the church is in the form of a cross, but it is the longitudinal direction that predominates - where the porch, nave, choir and sacristy follow on along its length. The transepts are also narrower and lower than the main nave of the church, and thus inferior to the main east-west direction with the choir in the east, as was customary.
