"Skjervøy prestegård" (3 of 3)
Description
The vicarage’s main building earlier contained both the office and accommodation – eventually the public office was moved elsewhere and the building became more “private”. The symmetrically-fashioned façade, with its dormer window in the middle and two brick chimneys on the roof, indicate a spacious lifestyle. For the vicarage was originally a farming concern as well, so several servants were needed to run the farm and the household.
