The sanctuary room is orientated diagonally in relation to the square, such that a clear axis in the room is established leading from the entrance to the choir and altar. The choir, elevated and situated on a low-rising podium, is separated from the actual sanctuary room. Perhaps the most characteristic aspect of this room is the ceiling construction. Here there are wooden laminated beams and steel trusses clustered in a large knot, centrally in the room.
