"Paaljorden" (5 of 5)
Description
The dwelling house has two rooms with a loft for sleeping above. Along the entire length of the long side is an annex, which contains a hallway. On the exterior, the building is clad with vertical matchboard panelling and has double framed windows with simple casings. As it appears today, the house's plan, form and detailing was typical during the 1930-40s, on small farms in Troms and Finnmark. The oldest section of the house are the two cogging jointed rooms. They are thought to have been built during the 19th century.
