The tackle repair workshop (no 2 on the site plan) is also built on the quay close to the seine drying rack as their uses were closely linked. The one storey building measures 6m x 6m and has a mono-pitched roof. The walls are timber frames and the roof joists span from gable to gable. The windows each have two casements and secondary glazing towards south and west. The main entrance is towards the east facing the storehouse. The building has horizontal wooden cladding and the roof is covered by fiber cement slates. The workshop is a single open room, walls and ceilings wood clad.
