Description
The building was erected in 1875. Internal conflict among the Laestadians who were Finnish descendents ("Kvens") in Vadsø, near the end of the 19th century, led to the erection of a new religious meeting house in town, hence why the older one became referred to as the "Old Religious Meeting House".
