"Giævergården" (6 of 7)
Description
The distinctive gateposts are made from an inner core of German railway sleepers, with slate tiles built up in layers on the outside. The gateposts were constructed by the church verger Henry Ulrichsen in 1947-48. Along the fence around the garden there are three wrought-iron gates, one of them a double gate. The wrought-iron gates were made in Lyngseidet by Sverre Ross in 1946-47.
