Description

On the rocks below the main house stands an artwork entitled "Fremskritt" (Progress), made by Linn K. M. Kalseth and Håkan Lindgren. The artwork was created in conjunction with the Arts Festival of North Norway 2004.

To the right of the summer house is the entrance to the earth cellar, which dates from approx. 1557. From 1770, wine was stored at Sandtorgholmen and distributed to a total of seven parishes. Today, the earth cellar is called the Malaga Vinpub (Malaga Wine Bar) and is the oldest wine-cellar in North Norway. It got its name from the time when the wine was imported from Malaga in Spain.
