The music pavilion is an eye-catcher in the north eastern part of the park, and is full of tradition. It has been located in different places throughout the park since it was erected with donated funding in 1913. This is the second of three music pavilions that have been erected in town. The pavilion in the park Generalhagen is a part of Harstad's town history. Annually throughout its history, it has served as a concert venue for either the divisional- or the regiment's band.
